The European Association for Environmental History was founded in 1989. The UK Branch held annual Meetings nearly every year from the early 90’s to 2013. The parent organisation was closed down in 1995, but the UK Branch continued. The UK Branch worked in conjunction with the successor European level body to the EAEH, which is the European Society for Environmental History (which has its own UK section). It was an informal grouping and its meetings provided a forum for academics and professionals from the physical, natural and social sciences, as well of course as the humanities, to discuss their work in the field of environmental history, which was defined very inclusively. You may wish to join the European Society for Environmental History and also subscribe to the distribution list for the Centre for World Environmental History at the University of Sussex.
